Energy Rebates

Take advantage of the 2013 Energy Rebates being offered by Xcel Energy & CenterPoint Energy!

Xcel Energy offers 20% of the total cost of the project, including the installation - up to $300.00

CenterPoint Energy offers rebates for air sealing & attic insulation.  For attic air sealing only - the rebate is 30% of costs up to $300.00.  For attic air sealing & insulation - the rebate is 30% of costs up to $500.00. 

The Federal Government is offering a tax credit for 2013 - up to $500.00 - for qualify insulation purchases! 

Minnesota Energy Resources - (Center for Energy and Environment - CEE) also offers substantial rebates for those customers in the southern Twin Cities & Rochester area.  Only qualified contractors ( Lewis Insulation, Inc. is ) who have participated in training and testing can offer their customers' these rebates.  The rebates are 50% of the cost of the insulation project with a maximum rebate as follows:

• $650.00 air sealing & attic insulation - OR $300.00 for air sealing only
• $425.00 for side wall insulation
• $425.00 foundation & rim joist insulation - OR $125.00 for rim joist only
• $200.00 floor insulation above unconditioned space
